Figurative Features
Talofa lava and welcome back to my blog this is our Figurative Features that we did for our task today. It was so easy and fun to do. My hardest part was the last slide we had to make up our own Alliteration but I made my own and it was really fun. I hope you learn something from this and I will catch you later with more of my work coming up soon!!. GOODBYE
Matariki
Last week on Friday we had a Matariki celebration. Matariki presents the 7 sisters or the 7 stars. In Matariki you will be able to see the 7 stars. They are so special. Matariki is all about spending time with your Whanau ( family ). It is important because its the year of celebrating Maori new year. The 7 stars names are,Matariki,Waitī,Waitā,Waipuna-ā-rangi,Tupu-ā-nuku,Tupu-ā-rangi,Ururangi,
My highlight from Friday was when me and Leylani baked the cupcakes and we learnt it so fast and we did a lot of cupcakes. My other highlight was when we had to make the stars with the paper it was confusing at first and then I made more and I even made some during lunch on Friday. My biggest highlight was the whole day it was so fun, we had a lot of fun making the food and it was just a great time on Friday.
Should New Zealand celebrate this?
Why?
For me I think New Zealand should celebrate this because its a special thing to Maoris and even if we aren't Maoris we should celebrate it with them to get to know Maori more and I should think us New Zealanders should celebrate this.
Little message to Mrs Tele'a: First I will like to thank Mrs Tele'a for preparing this for us we had a great time with you and I will also like to thank you for teaching me and Leylani to bake the cupcakes and without your great idea we wouldn't had have the great time on Friday and I thank you for everything you did for us on Friday.

The Blushing Princess
Once upon a time there was a princess named Cinderella. She loved to explore around. She walked and walked when she saw a tree she loved. She went to visit it every time she went for walks. She went for walks because her evil step mother and her step sisters always went places without her. She will always smile because she got to dance with the prince but she ran away after that. She will always climb up her favourite tree. One day she woke up. She was so excited because she was going for her walking day. She got dressed and brushed her hair, her teeth and washed her face and took a shower. She walked out and laid on the ground for a bit. She acted like the ground was snow. Cinderella was happier than ever. She shouted out loud “be kind, have courage and always believe in a little magic.”
She then went for her walk. When something came to her it was a little fli, Cinderella hated file’s. She took her sneakers off and ran as fast as she could. She trips on a rock and falls into a hole where you couldn’t see anything. She called out so high, higher than the top of her lungs. She sat there sobbing, she didn’t know what to do. Poor Cinderella was stuck in a big hole. It started to get a little bit dark. Cinderella was scared of the dark. She screamed out and cried a little bit. She sat there thinking what she should do, she was hopeless she couldn’t do anything to get her out of there, she was so speechless she didn’t know what to say anymore.
When she heard something coming from the left she cried out “help”, the sound stopped she called out “ help “ again they moved and shouted out “who are you and where are you” she said “ i’m in this big hole, I was going for a walk when this file came to me so I ran since I was scared of files then I tripped and fall into this dark cold hole. He said “I can’t see any hole”, she then said “look to your left and walk straight and you will see a big dark hole”. He then said “bring me your hand”, he grabbed her and lifted her up.
Cinderella didn’t know what was going to flash before her eyes. She blushed and said “your majesty”, The prince also didn’t know what was coming before his eyes too. He shouted out “ it’s you, you're the one who danced with me''.Cinderella then said “ well yes I was the one who dance with you” .They walked and walked when they got to Cinderella's favourite tree they danced around the river and talked. Cinderella talked about how that was her favourite tree. They climbed up the tree and watched the swamps flow around and watched the stars shine. They went home to Cinderella's evil stepmother and stepsisters shouting at each other. Cinderella announced that her and the prince were getting married. Her sisters were shocked and said “ I'm so sorry Cinderella please forgive me” She then said ``I forgive you”. The next day came and it was time they got married. They welcomed Cinderella in and the Prince and then did the whole service. They got married and they lived happily ever after. ;THE END

Taha Tinana - Fitness& Hygiene
Our physical bodies need to stay fit and clean.
Our families and homes are where we learn the basic BUT important steps for this.
Here are 9 examples of what happens in my family.
1. My family goes to the gym every night.
2. We drink a lot of water.
3. We eat healthy food.
4. My parents run on the treadmill everyday to keep there bodies waken and healthy.
5. We sometimes run around with our dogs outside.
6. My siblings once ran around the basement and up the mountain in Mount Wellington.
7. Me and my sisters did some fitness and followed the fitness app 5 times in one week.
8. We brush our teeth.
9.We take showers and get out of our dirty clothes and get into good clothes.
Remember guys it's important to be fit because you will have a healthy body, it's also important to drink a lot of water and eat healthy food and brush brush your teeth every time and it's important to take showers to and once you get home take off your dirty clothes as soon as you get home because you don't want the germs going around in your house and in your room. It's also important to go to a gem or if you have exercising things at home use it to make your body fit and clean and healthy. Thank you for hanging around and I hope you enjoy and I will catch you later with more of my work coming soon. DON'T LET THE BED BUGS BIT YOU!!

Joseph Parker-Believe in yourself
Talofa lava and welcome back to my blog. Today we had our normal assembly in the mornings but there was something different about assembly. We had Joseph Parker at our school today. We started off with the Mihi and Karakia,we then sang the national anthem. Then we did the quiz about the Korero. Next we had the prefects present the new Korero to us.
After that we introduces Joseph Parker to speak. He played the guitar for us, he then told us about what hes been going through with his fighting and stuff. He then told us a important Korero, he said " Never give up and nothing beats hard work ". That was a really good Korero. What I learnt was to never give up and do it before its to late. He gave us some good things.
We then went off with the certificates, Joseph Parker and his sister Elizabeth stood up and shake the people who got an award. Then we moved onto lunch box hero, They picked out a name and said my name. I got a coconut for being picked out. Some of my other friends and class mate got some prizes too. Next we moved onto sports. They talked about what sports were on and so on. Then we moved onto a singing a song. A beautiful song about Matariki. Then after the song we welcome the new kids. After welcoming the new kids we went back to class. Some of the kids got to shake his hand and take photos with him.
What I wanted to ask him can he speak Samoan or what village is he from. I wanted to ask a lot of questions to Joseph Parker.
Message to Joseph Parker. Dear Joseph Parker thank you for coming to our school. We all loved you and we are all a TRUE FAN of you. Whenever your games come up my Dad always watches it us to. My dad always shouts when you knock out someone your you win. I just want to say that keep going with your boxing but if you stop it's OK because you will always be a star for Samoa and New Zealand. You have inspired everyone through out your boxing years. I love to see you play again and Thanks for everything.

Stand up-Dylan Owen End Apartheid for good-Julia Randerson
Talofa lava and welcome back to my blog. This is my task I did for today. I had to read two long books online and then write about it. I hope learn more about this and about back then with protesting. What I learnt is that the only thing that matters is your heart and your brain, I also learnt that it doesn't matter what colour you are and no matter ho you look. I also learnt a lot of other things.
Message to everyone: Black lives matter and also everyone lives matter. It's not about the skin it's not about how you look because your always going to be a human being and your always going to be beautiful. A lady was telling her class about comparing her and a little boy. She said that do we have the same colour hair and they said no she then talked to them about what they do have the same. She said that the only thing that matter is "your heart and your brain". She said if I came to school with no hair, orange skin, green teeth and all my clothes on backwards would I still be me" They all then said " yes " She then said " why ". One of the little girls said " because your brain and your heart ". This is a good lesson because you will still be you. Remember be kind and love each other even if there different. GOODBYE and i'll catch you later with more of my work coming soon.

Enjoy being your age
Zdravo I am eleven years old. There are many things I enjoy about being this age.
1.I am able to play different sports.
2.I'm with the same students everyday
3. I get to know my teachers well.
4. We get to learn about our changing bodies.
5. We get to be the student leaders of our school.
6. We get to trail for rep sports teams.
7. We get to dream about what college we'll go to.
8. We get to walk or drive only 2 mins to school.
9. We can have fun walking home with each other.
Life is to short for not being your age. So be your age and not be someone that isn't your age. Remember at all times that you should enjoy your age and be yourself.
My message to all of yous is to be your age because it's going to be to late if your not going to enjoy your age. Be yourself don't be someone else because it's more better if you be your age then someone else.
