100 word writing

 

On a sunny day, my family and I went to a theme park! As we entered the entrance, we saw a multiple of rides to choose from. Everything appeared to be entertaining, and everyone appeared to be having a good time. As we walked around the park looking for more rides, we noticed some cool super hero statues on the roofs of the shops.We continued walking and saw a tall roller coaster that looked very scary and like it would give us butterflies, as we rode the roller coaster, it went up high and we all yelled, "ITS GOING DOWNNNNN!!!"

Today in our literacy class we had to write an 100 word writing about any picture. 

Hero Documents

 Jesus is an hero to many people and he has done so many things for people that have been suffering  and many other reasons. Jesus is a lovely/loving and caring person to many of us. So in my opinion Jesus is my hero because..

Reason 1: Jesus sacrificed his life on the cross for us and died for our sins and Jesus sacrificed his life on the cross for us and died for our sins.

Reason 2: Jesus is a loving and caring person, Why? Well you may know that Jesus hates sinning right?, but yet Jesus cared for the sinners and sat down and ate with them and it tells us in Mark 2:13-17.

Reason 3:Jesus has healed many people that were sick and even suffering and . In Mark 8:22-26 it tells us that Jesus healed a blind man and in Mark 7:31-37 it also says that Jesus healed a man who was deaf and muted.

Now that you have listened to my speech and about my hero. Now you know that Jesus is my number one hero and that he has done a lot of things for us. If  Jesus didn’t come and sacrifice his life for us we wouldn’t be on this earth right now. Is Jesus one of your heroes? .I do have many other heroes like my mum,dad or even my siblings, but Jesus is my number one hero because he has done so many things for me in my life and he has sacrificed his life for us, but other than that thank you for listening to my speech and remember Jesus loves you!.

Talofa lava. Today for writing we worked on our speeches that we have to present in front of team 5. My speech is all about chucking your rubbish in the bin. It's important to chuck your rubbish in the bin because it can effect our environment and also our sea creatures if its laying around. If you want to see my speech it is on second to last page. For writing we learnt more about verbs,adjectives and different things. We learnt to highlight the verbs and adverbs and learnt more.!

Today for writing we practised different kind of things. We coloured the nouns and verbs and more and answered a few questions. If you check through the slides you can see what we did.

Pipe cleaner challenge

 Today in literacy class our teacher set us up on a challenge. We split into 8 different groups. Our challenge was to try and build the tallest tower out of pipe cleaners. Our norms we use were Participate,partnership, protection and communication. We all worked as a team and made a great tower !.

Understanding Descriptive Language

 My wings were rasping like Polly's old bike pump when I reached the ridge and a blustery wind whipped my hair on end. Way below the horses looked like plastic toys under model trees. I'd never been so far away from houses or people, all alone. I slid my eyes along the ridge. The wind tore my yell from my mouth. It was my sister looking for me around the corner. She shouted my name when she saw my hair. She came running after me. I tripped on the rock and hurt my leg. She picked me up and walked towards the car. Then she drove home and had a talk with me. 

1. How does the writer say that the girl is puffed and tired? Because in the beginning it says her lungs were rasping like Polly's old bike pump. 

2. What words are used to describe the wind? Blustery 

3. What sentence tells you that she is high up the hill? I'd never been so far away from houses or people , all alone.

4. How does the writer tell us that she is afraid? The wind tore my yell from my mouth.
