Book reading

Today the whole of team and 3 went to the hall to do some fun stuff. It was so amazing with Mr Moran because he played a game with us and it was a whisper game. Mr Moran said something to Leah and Leah said something to Deejay and Deejay said something to Ozzy.  Then Ozzy said something to Joseph and Joseph said something to Bradley and Bradley said something to me and I said something to Phoenix. Then Phoenix said something to Sivaenah and Sivaenah said it out loud. She said that Mr Moran had giant muscles. The first part was when we were at Miss Davis and she had a book with no pictures.  She had to say do I have to turn the page around and we all said yes and she kept saying do I have to turn the page around and we all said again yes yes yes. It was my favourite because the story was interesting.  Thank you to all the teachers for reading to team 3. 

My year in room 15

My best thing this year is when the Tamaki College people came and sang songs for us. It was so so beautiful and amazing. I saw my brother at the back sitting on the chair and I was looking at him and he was looking at me too. My other best thing was when we did cross country. The year 1s went, then the year 2 went and then it was the turn of the year 3. Then the year 3 boys went and then the 3 girls went.

It was also fun doing Scratch with Mrs Belt. She is amazing at doing Scratch with room 15. It was amazing doing swimming with the instructor and Mrs Belt was a instructor too for swimming. I think she is amazing at swimming in pools. It was amazing at prize giving for the netball team because I was in the netball team that was called Besties and Sivaenah and Mia were in my netball team. My coach and Manager was Miss Timmy and Mr Moran. They were the best coach and manager ever, the best best coach and manager for 2016 netball team. 

Scratch

Once upon a time there was to people that were in New York. Their names were Abigail and john. They were both at the market because there were going to buy something. Then they saw each other. John and Abigail were best cousins when they were little they also play on the park. They were jumping and jumping. Then they were both older and they played played on the park all day. John and Abigail played on the park when it was night time then they had to do all the dishes it take them to the dishes a minute and 1 hour to do it. Then it was the morning they do not wake up again because they done the dishes when it was nighttime. 

Milkshakes

On Friday room 15 made milkshakes. The ingredients were milk, peaches and vanilla ice cream and the equipment were spoons and electric blender and cup. It was so yummy and tasty. We all went in 1 group so we can make the milkshake. It was so amazing doing it with our teacher. It is awesome and amazing. I really really love it because I loved the peaches. It is amazing to have a baking teacher with us. I hope room fifteen can do it again but with Mrs Belt. When I first drank it was so so so yummy and tasty. Milkshakes are fun to make with baking teachers because they are so so amazing and awesome to make milkshakes. 

Making Mousse

What ingredients did we need to make mousse?

We need chocolate mousse and strawberry and milk. 

We need measuring jug and 

electric mixer and cups 

and cups and spoons. 

What happened when we added the ingredients?

When you add the powder it dissolves after we stirred it really hard. It dissolved into little bubbles. When we stirred the bubbles it turned around into big bubbles.. 

What did we learn?

When we put solid powder it

changed into liquid and then 

It changed into solid. It can not be changed back again. 

Chromebooks

Yesterday we learnt about Chromebooks with the Year 4s and we learnt about dinosaurs. Mrs Belt took photos of us when we were doing work with the Year 4s. Then when you finished watching the movie there were some questions. Then you have to go to the next page. When you finished all the pages you could play all the games in Friv or Maths Whizz or Cool Maths Games. I played Fireboy & Watergirl.  It was amazing and awesome because we played games and my partners were Sonia and Lillyana and Quincess. They were fun and funny. They were amazing partners and buddies. I wish that I was in that class so I can get a chromebook. Then we all went back to class. Then we all went home. 

Yeast experiment

Yesterday we made yeast with Mrs Belt. The ingredients was warm water and a measuring spoon and yeast and one cup of sugar. When we were finished we have to mix it and then we were smiling it.It was brown and disgusting and yuck.Then we had to put it near the heater and then it will rise up. Then the next day it rise up a little. Our whole class got to do it. It was so amazing and awesome. I think we can do it a near time. It was amazing and awesome how we done science with you Mrs Belt. Science is my favourite thing to do now.

The cave

  Once upon a time there was a spooky scary cave. We had to  go in there to look for my little kitten. We were all scared and we want to go home. I was shaking my hands and my head. When we went in the cave we saw this animal it was a possum we were all scramming so loud but no one could help us. The problem was that there was a  earthquake a had to go and find my kitten. Then I find he and so my and my kitten Joseph had to go back were my friends and my family. Then when I got there the earthquake stop we all went to the water parks. My kitten was shaking because he was cold then I take he to get warm and fresh. It was so amazing and cold. I was screaming so loud.

Ch ch ch ch changes.

At the immersion assembly we saw lots of fun things today. We saw team one’s acting and it was about the witches. It was scary and creepy. When they were washing the house the bell rang. All the witches were going at the back and it was a cake at the back. But my  best best part was how team 5 did the balloons on Mrs Tele'as head. It was so so funny and amazing. I liked  it because when Mr Fuzzy Wuzzy Vottom said his name and some of the little kids were  laughing at his name. Then they did the fizzy drink on Miss Berry’s  face.  But  before Miss Berry had to do the fizzy drink on her  face she had to put on the science glass to protect her eyes. They did it two times and it was so so cold for Miss Berry. Then when they had done Miss Berry, they have to do Miss Clarke's  one. Her one is so so cold and fuzzy. She has to not shake for she will get cold and fuzzy. At the end we have to say ch ch ch ch changes.

The gold medal missing

When I went to gymnastics I went to dance and it was amazing and awesome.I wanted to get the  gold medal  because it was  shiny and sparkling.  When we saw that I won the gold medal we all  screamed loud and clear at the people because it was  our team. But they have to do the third person. Then it got to the  second person. Then it got to me but there was a problem. It was the gold medal, it was missing. The robber took it. I was so, so sad and disappointed that we didn't have the gold gold medal. When I went to the cops I said to them the robber took my gold medal and then they went and found the robber but the robber was not there. 

The amazing eels

Yesterday we went inside the hall at 2.10 and it was amazing. Because we heard about eels. The book was from a beautiful lady. Her name was Robin and she said lots of things. She said to us if there are lots of things in the rivers then you have to take it out. So the eels can not die. So we can be all happy and amazing. So if all the plastic bags and all the car battery are in the rivers then take it all out of there. They have sharp teeth and slimy back and slippery black eyes. 

Amazing sentence

The joyful fantastic woman went safely walking to the hot fantastic beach.    

The poor  little  boy kicked hard  as he can in the  sky and the ball went into the  goal post.

Lisa Carrington

Lisa carrington woke up in a beautiful hotel. She was so so happy because she was going to row in the Olympics race. Lisa went and ate breakfast so she can be more and more excited about the challenging race at the Rio Olympics. Lisa got dressed up in her Olympics t-shirt and put her fast shoes and called a taxi. She went in it and went to the Rio 2016 Olympics rowing race.  

When Lisa went in the stadium she got lost. Then she told the officer if they know where it is so she went with the officier man and she got there. When she got there she saw that her boat was missing and she was so upset because her boat was missing. Then she went inside the officers next to the steps and she said to them where is my coach and they said he is sick in the hospital so she called a taxi and went to see him and she went inside the hospital and she saw him. So the coach got more and more better and Lisa and her coach went to the race. Lisa went up to the line and her coach was proud of her. So Lisa went up the state and got her  gold medal and went home with it and before she was going home she went and huddle  her coach and then she went home in a taxi. 

Then she find her coach and then they went to the race. She won her game and she got her gold medal and her big prize. It was a big ring square. She take photos with her coach and her family. It was amazing and awesome and then she put it on facebook. Her coach put on comments and put a photo that was with her and her coach it was amazing and awesome and fantastic because it was cool. 

Hiwi the Kiwi

Hiwi the Kiwi is a amazing show. When I first went inside the hall I heard a song from inside the hall. It was amazing and awesome. I was happy that we went. So we can have lots of fun. It was amazing and we were all dancing and singing. I was happy that people got prizes from Hiwi the Kiwi. Hannah got a prizes and ozzy and question and all those other kids that got a prizes. One of the question that was when you get a fish you have to get a wet towel and get the fish. Another question is when your dad your mum doesn't have a lifejacket you have to say to your mum and dad it is too late for them to got the lifejacket. When you take off the sunscreen you get sunburnt.  

Lisa Carrington

Lisa Carrington is a  fantastic woman because she got a gold medal for us and a bronze medal.She is 27 years old and she was born in Tauranga.   Now she is going to carry the New Zealand flag tonight. It is going to be exciting for her.  Her family is going to be  proud of her when they see her. She is going to carry the New Zealand flag in Rio. I am going to watch it at home with my whole family.  She is going to carry it at the  Closing Ceremony. She was doing kayaking and she got up to the finish line first out of all of them. 

Sportsmanship

If you full down it's ok because someone might help you. It would be helpful for you to get help from someone. Keep on trying if you full down  it doesn't matter if you full down. Listen to your coach and keep up. If I was you I would  Store run. Be friendly to each other and kind to each other.

The race

In Brazil they were doing a race. There was Jamaica and China and  Australia.  They were all so, so fast that only Jamaica won the race. He was awesome and amazing. He was so, so fast that no one can get up to him. When we were at home we went inside and we watched it. Then we saw that Jamaica was winning and he was  running and running. Then he saw that he was near the finish line. He get so, so hot and sweaty that he got  tired. I think he wanted to go home. That was cool when he was running so,  so fast. He was at the back but he tried so hard with his amazing coach.They work so , so hard so he can win the race. He had  lots  of energy and drank lots of water. He ate healthy food to get more energy. 

The race

In the holidays I watched the rowing race .  When I saw it New Zealand was on there. When we watched it we saw mahe Drysdale and he won  the race .  They have to take a photo and they saw it . New Zealand won it and my dad was amazed that New Zealand won it. He got the big gold medal. He was so so fast that no one can beat him at all. I think he had to listen and practice with his amazing coach and he had to eat healthy food. He was strong and powerful that he won it. That was amazing Mahe Drysdale. I hope you won another gold medal. He got up to the finish and he was so so fast.
