Immersion Assembly

Welcome back to Team 3: A World Of Difference,

Immersion Assembly is about the teachers showing us what we are going to be doing for the term.

Team 1: Team 1's presentation were all about what other students are the world do at their schools. Like what they eat for morning tea and lunch, what they do at lunch and morning tea,or maybe what they do after school. They are also looking at what they are going to be learning about this whole term and what kind of stuff they are going to be doing.

Team 2: Team 2 did Dora the explorer. Dora help them to pick what country they want to look at. They went to the Bahamas to explore what they do at their country. They also explored the Eiffel tower and other country. They also act as they were skiing on the snow and other stuff.

Team 3: Team 3 explored other country they also had a mission it was called the amazing grace. They had to go on a plane to go to that place where the paper says and try to travel back to were they had to and see who is going to be eliminated.

Team 4: Team 4 video was about what kind of food they had and where was it made from. Miss Parrant had like a kebab roll, it was made from the Middle East. Miss Tuia had some curry her food was made from India. There learning about what country does there food come from.

Team 5: Team 5 acted out a play about Sina and the Eel. Mrs Ilaoa was Sina and Mrs Tele'a was the eel. The story was myths and legends. it was about the Eel really loving Sina. But Sina didn't love him back. She ran away and told her uncle and cousin. So her cousin or uncle went to confront the eel and cut the eels head of. The eel then told sina to plant his head. She planted it and it turned into a coconut tree.

What I appreciate about Immersion Assembly : What I appreciate about Immersion Assembly is that we get a lot of information and it just helps us to learn what it's like in other country's. I also appreciate it because when we go college and have test or anything we will know it and remember that we learnt that.
